You will leave the village passing by the football pitch and then turning left on a path that goes down following the course of the stream. You will constantly see stone walls, an old way of limiting propriety that you will find frequently while walking through Extremadura and Castilla.
The path will end on beautiful stretch surrounded by trees, and then you will see Fuente de Cantos on the distance, locates between fields. Go towards Virgen de la Granada Church Square. You can also visit Zurbarán Museum (famous painter born in this town).

Even through archeological discoveries show this town might have a remote origin, the first mentions about it are from the 13th Century on the war chronicles of Christian armies. Consolidation and expansion of the village was possible thanks to the Order of Santiago, as its commercial activity gets more importance during the Middle Ages. Francisco de Zurbarán (1598-1664) was born in this village.
