You will start this stage from Alcuéscar, first getting to the Sports Centre (800 m from the Hostel) and taking a path to the left, between the N-630 and Ayuela Reservoir.
You will walk surrounded by fields and oaks, and then you will cross a Roman bridge and continue. That way, you will arrive at Casas de Don Antonio. If you enter this village, you will go down the path and continue towards Aldea del Cano.
Keep going on parallel to the N-630, where you will find a milestone and will cross another Roman bridge, continuing towards Aldea del Cano. Once you see Aldea del Cano, you can enter this village or keep going on, as you prefer.
Crossing the road that leads to the station, you will pass under a highway and continue walking surrounded by oaks and fields, getting to the Cáceres Aerodrome Runway and crossing it. After 1 km, you will get to an intersection, where you will go straight on and descend to a Roman bridge over the river Salor. Finally, you will get to Valdesalor.
Valdesalor
This is a village founded in 1963 by the Colonization Institute to take advantage of the irrigated lands close to Salor Reservoir. Even if it is quite recent, Valdesalor has been lucky enough to be built on a great historical and popular site in the West of Spain, the Silver Route.
