You will leave Carrión taking the N-120, crossing the river and leaving it on the left side of San Zoilo Monastery. On the intersection with the C-615 (which goes to Riaño), you will have to take a paved road known as Carretera del Indiano and, after 4 km, it will lead you to the ruins of the famous Benevívere Abbey. Soon after, the paved road makes a curve, but the itinerary continues straight on via a stone pavement, an old roman road, towards Calzadilla de la Cueza (13 km away).
Right after taking this path, you will see Fuente del Hospitalejo on your right, next to a poplar grove. 4 km ahead, you will cross the road of Bustillo del Páramo and the riverbeds of Pozoamargo, Ríoseco and Valdemienzo. Then, you will start seeing the church tower in Calzadilla de la Cueza. From this village, you will take the N-120 towards Lédigos.
