You will leave Fuenterroble via the road leading towards Casafranca and soon after you will get to the causeway again. Later on, you will see the remains of an old monastery and will start ascending to Pico de la Dueña, the highest point on this route, where you will find a great Santiago’s Cross.
On the base of the rock, a pilgrim’s silhouette has been drawn for everyone to keep carving it with a stone, perpetuating this image.
Now, you will descend and walk on one side of the road until you get to Calzadilla de los Mendigos meadow; then, take the first detour to the left and you will enter San Pedro de Rozados.

This is the biggest village in the territory known as “Campo Charro” in Salamanca. Is a land of holm oaks and meadows, a perfect place to raise cattle especially the race known as “Morucha”. The village is located on top of a hill
What can you visit?
San Pedro Church, temple from the 17th Century mainly built of stone. It has a bell gable and the bell tower still works manually.
