In fact, it is recommended to bring the minimum and essential so you don't have to carry overweight bags while walking the way. Nevertheless, there are many things that you need to carry from onw place to the other.
We specially refer to:

- Saddlebags
- Bicycles
- Other equipment.
You need to have this equipment in your starting point and carry on with it to The Way of St. James. Once you have finished the way, it will have to be sent back to your address.
No matter what is the mean of transport (bus, train, plane, car, etc.) you use to get to the starting point, all this equipment needs to be transported.
The bus, train and plane companies offer luggage transfer services, but it is not always the most suitable and comfortable method. For example, if you go by bus there are companies that allow you to carry the bike inside the bus trunk, but it is still uncomfortable to have to be watching over your bicycle or luggage you don’t need to use after finishing all the effort the pilgrimage to Santiago suppose. Also, this service usually means an additional cost, as it happens when you travel by train or plane too.
Our advice is that you transport equipment (bags, bicycles, etc) in a more comfortable way, using a 24h Urgent Transport Service, as the one we offer you.
This service will be very useful when starting the Way but also once you have finished, so you can send all the equipment to the place you choose (an accommodation at the starting point, your home, etc.).
